Sofitel Sydney Wentworth says 'I do' to Australian Bridal Fashion Week partnership
It is a perfect union of fashion and hotel luxury as Sofitel Sydney Wentworth has signed on as the official event partner of Australian Bridal Fashion Week 2016 which takes place from 24-26 June.
The partnership announcement comes as the hotel celebrates its milestone 50 years as one of Sydney’s original five-star hotels, during which time it has earned a reputation as one of the city’s most endeared venues for generations of lovers.
Launched in 2015 by Wedding and Events of Australia (WEOA) Australian Bridal Fashion Week (ABFW) is Australia's premier bridal event in support of bridal couturiers and bridal fashion experts. The event provides a platform from which designers showcase their latest collections to buyers, media and now the consumer at the ABFW Bridal Shopping Event.
Local and international bridal designers including Inbal Dror, Akira Isogawa, Zuhair Murad, Monique Lhuillier, Shane McConnell, Helen Rodrigues, Catherine R Couture and Nomiki Glynatsis will all be staying and entertaining at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth before revealing their new season collections on a 40 metre runway at Australian Technology Park.
During the event, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth will be hosting a luxury VIP lounge complete with Veuve Clicquot Pop-Up bar and a selection of special high tea delicacies inspired by designer Cristina Re, for guests to relax at Australian Technology Park. A Sofitel wedding booth will also be available for guests interested in hosting their own wedding event with Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
Sofitel offers a full range of pre-designed or bespoke wedding events. A historical icon, the hotel boasts thirteen function spaces including the Wentworth Ballroom and Garden Court Restaurant.
Brides who choose to book their wedding events with Sofitel Sydney Wentworth will receive 4 complimentary tickets to attend ABFW 2016.
