Wedding ceremonies may also be held in the ball room. With capacity for 200 guests seated and 300 cocktail, The Tea Room is a truly exclusive offering.

Head Chef Rob Crichton heads a team of highly sought after industry professionals.  Combining this with exceptional restaurant-trained wait staff, The Tea Room QVB delivers a world class dining experience to every reception with fine food and premium service.

With its rich history, the Queen Victoria Building offers a magnificent backdrop for your wedding photos.  Since first opening in 1898, the QVB has had a mercurial history. Designed by George McRae, it replaced the original Sydney Markets and was named to honour the monarch's Diamond Jubilee. Elaborate Romanesque architecture was chosen for the grand building, which was fully restored in 1986.

The Tea Room, formally the Grand Ballroom of the QVB, was recently renovated in 2014 which has given testimony to the original vision of the building. Baccarat worked with The Tea Room to create custom crystal chandeliers with the aim to celebrate the beautiful Victorian ceiling.  This superb craftsmanship has allowed the ballroom to stand in all her glory today.
