Having had a connection with the bridal industry since high school, Sophie went on to study design and interned for brands such as Colette Dinnigan, David Jones and Vogue Australia. Seeing a gap in the market for an online platform to help brides find their wedding dress and an online accessories shop to style their wedding day look, Sophie launched LOVE FIND CO.
Where did the LOVE FIND CO. journey begin?
The LOVE FIND CO. journey began in 2015. I was receiving so many questions from friends asking if I knew where to source the perfect dress and accessories. That was when I realised there was a niche in the wedding world for a beautifully curated, chic wedding platform to help brides find gowns and accessories.
LOVE FIND CO. took a year to develop from its earliest planning stages to its launch. I was very particular about the branding and the website as I wanted something fresh, new and innovative. I also wanted a powerful message to be within the brand. At LOVE FIND CO. we strive for a unique vision and for quality not quantity. We only work with brands that we truly want to promote and that we feel reflect our style. Everything on LOVE FIND CO. is carefully curated and handpicked for the modern bride.
How do online resources help brides and newly engaged couples plan their weddings?
Having everything online is so powerful. Brides who come to LOVE FIND CO. are often time poor but still want to have an incredibly beautiful wedding. Within the digital age, having an online concierge service like LOVE FIND CO. and being able to search through Australia’s best designers and boutiques is imperative. The ease of knowing that we only recommend brands that we truly believe in ourselves means that brides can trust us and our judgement.
What is your advice for brides-to-be?
I always love the quote from Coco Chanel, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.” Once you are wearing your dress, veil, headpiece and jewellery take a moment to look at yourself in the mirror. Ask yourself whether the combination of accessories works together. This pause and reflection whilst getting ready not only gives you a moment to yourself but gives you the opportunity to make sure you are completely happy with your wedding day look.
What inspires you?
Seeing incredibly happy brides after I have helped them and seeing their wedding day come to life is so inspiring.
Other women inspire me as well. I love reading and listening to podcasts about female entrepreneurs and the ways that they have paved their own paths.
Simple things like going for a long walk or going to the beach also inspires me and clears my head. I feel I work a lot better after having those short breaks.
Best thing about working in the world of weddings?
The pure joy and happiness that it brings people. I am in love with LOVE and I also love to make people happy, so for me, LOVE FIND CO. brings those two worlds together.

LOVE FIND CO. is all about revolutionising the way brides go about styling their wedding day look. LOVE FIND CO. is a platform to showcase bridal and accessories brands that we love. There are three main components to LOVE FIND CO.
The first is a Dress Concierge which is a handpicked selection of bridal designers and boutiques from all around Australia. From each profile brides can learn about individual price points, see the latest collections and then directly enquire to make an appointment.
The second is an Online Boutique which is curated accessories for brides and bridesmaids. We sell robes, veils, hair accessories and gifts.
Our Style Concierge is a personalised service for brides who would like a more detailed breakdown. We ask the bride a series of questions and then direct her to the best dresses from the designers and boutiques we look after to start her dress search.
