Luxury Bali ... 5 star Villas to call home

Bali's luxury scene is booming and ready to cater to your every desire.

Like many Australians, I visited Bali in my early twenties on a shoestring budget and loved every minute: racing through the streets on a scooter, massages on the beach, and crazy Kuta nightlife. Now that I’m a little older and have a better bank balance I’ve developed a taste for the finer things in life, including how I like to holiday. I’ve enjoyed the sun-soaked beaches of Saint Tropez and Mykonos, but never thought of Bali as a high-end holiday destination. All that has change since I discovered Mandala's luxurious, world class villas.

The luxury experience of staying at one of Mandalas impressive villas begins from the moment you arrive at Denpasar airport with a personal meet-and-greet whisking you through customs in a flash to your private transfer. Each villa is fully staffed with an in-house manager, chef, housekeeper and full time security. Start each day with a complementary breakfast before indulging in one of the many services the Mandala concierge team can arrange for you including: massages, personal trainers, private yoga classes, surf lessons, day tours and much more.

The House

Minutes from the surf breaks of Canggu this impressive villa was designed by one of Bali’s leading architects. Featuring a glass-bottomed pool, swim-up copper bar, boxing gym, and infinity swimming pool that overlooks the adjoining paddy fields it wouldn’t look out of place amongst the mega mansions of Beverly Hills. The House has five king en-suites and multiple living areas spread over 6,500 square feet. The striking open plan entertaining space is centered around a palm tree growing through the double height ceilings and sunken living room.

The Home

This elegant villa was designed by the same award-winning architect as 'The House' and spans over 5,000 square feet of meticulously designed interiors, with paddy fields on two sides and a peaceful riverside frontage. Shaded under a fragranced canopy of bougainvillea and jasmine the villas outdoor dinning area is the perfect setting to host a dinner party. This villa is truly your home away from home.

The Rocks

Situated on the rocks of Uluwatu this mindblowing villa boasts 5,000 square feet of luxury. Each of the six bedrooms features an ensuite bathroom and private terrace overlooking the white sand and azure waters. The open plan entertaining space includes a private bar and ocean deck where you'll enjoy unrivalled panoramic views of the islands famous sunsets before falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping the shoreline.

The Bay

Set to open January 2019 The Bay will be Mandala's newest addition to their magnificent portfolio, located on the small island paradise of Nusa Lembongan, just a thirty-minute boat trip from Bali. For those looking for a barefoot beach getaway, this five bedroom water-front villa is for you. With crystal clear waters this island hideaway is the perfect destination for diving, surfing and snorkeling from one of its many white sandy beaches.
